Susan Mattisinko and Robert S. De Leon Endowment Fund
Creating our Family Philanthropic Legacy
We established the Susan Mattisinko & Robert S. De Leon Endowment Fund at the Jewish Community Foundation of Los Angeles (The Foundation) in 2015 to create our family philanthropic legacy and impart our values of tzedakah and community to our daughters, Lois and Audrey. It is especially meaningful for us to have our Endowment Fund at The Foundation, where Susan has served as General Counsel since 2012.
Our Endowment Fund provides an annual grant to Foundation for Jewish Camp (FJC), www.jewishcamp.org. FJC was founded in 1998 to strengthen the Jewish community through support and advocacy for transformative and immersive summer experiences, which lead to more passionate involvement in Jewish life in adulthood.
Jewish summer camp has been transformative for our family, and we are thrilled to do our part to enable others to experience the magic of Jewish camp.
